What We Do

Mission Statement

Neighborhood Connections fosters hope - particularly for the most vulnerable individuals and families in South-Central Vermont - by delivering care and connecting all people who walk through our doors to comprehensive well-being support.

Our Goals

To connect people with appropriate resources.

To reduce the need for crisis intervention through preventative health and social service programs.

To assist families and individuals in need to gain their independence and to encourage a spirit of helping in turn.

Our History

Neighborhood Connections is a non-profit organization offering preventative health care, health education and social services. We proudly serve the communities of Londonderry, Weston, Andover, Windham, Winhall, Jamaica, Landgrove, Peru and Bondville.

The grassroots agency opened its doors in 2009 out of a need for innovative and cost effective social outreach in the underserved populations of area mountain towns. We respond to community-identified needs with a range of social services and health-related programs, working closely with public and private resources at federal, state and local levels.

Our services include connecting people with the resources they need including health education, counseling, crisis management and assisting individuals with navigation through social service systems.
Donate Today

Neighborhood Connections unequivocally and unconditionally rejects
racial injustice in our nation and our community.

We recognize that racial inequality is deeply rooted in our country's history and has had a sustained, devastating and disproportionate impact on Black and other communities of color. We stand in solidarity with local, national and global protesters speaking out against injustice and share their anger and desire for transformative change.

We are committed to the ongoing work of considering how our mission, our programs, our board, and our workplace can ensure that racism has no place in our agency, in those agencies with whom we partner, nor in the communities of which we are a part and whom we serve.

We firmly believe that no lives matter until all lives matter - including the lives of Black and other communities of color.
