Welcome to
Neighborhood
Connections, Inc.

Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of the people in Southern Vermont's mountain towns through advocacy, education, and social services

Connecting

people with the appropriate resources.

Preventing

the need for crisis intervention through health and social service programs.

Assisting

families and individuals in the need to gain their independence, and to encourage a spirit of helping in return.

You can still donate to our Annual Appeal! While we understand that you have many choices and opportunities to give to worthy charitable organizations, know that the impact of your donation to Neighborhood Connections is measurable! Read the appeal from our Executive Director here.

MovieTime in Springfield!

Approximately 20 folks hopped aboard the Mountain Town Connector on Saturday, January 21, to enjoy a private screening of A Man Called Otto at the Springfield Theater! Afterwards, the group had lunch at Chester's Pizza Stone.

Stay tuned for more social outings! Click here for more photos of the day!

AARP Free Tax Aide Scheduled

We are happy to announce that the AARP Free Tax-Aide program is scheduled at Neighborhood Connections once again!

Their free tax service is scheduled from February 7th through April 11th, 2023. If you had your taxes prepared at Neighborhood Connections last year by AARP, you will be contacted by mail. If you would like to schedule an appointment, call 802.824.4343

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year to make sure they know about and understand the latest changes to the tax code. This service is free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income.

Need Health Insurance?

Neighborhood Connections has been awarded funds to ensure Vermonters have access to health insurance! To make an appointment with a social worker, call us at 802.824.4343
